Nankervis was missing for them, not sure who elsedidick wrote:Am I correct in understanding that the Tigers had a 100% full list to chose from on Thursday night?
While we could have benefited from Cox, Treloar Stepho, and Greenwood (Langdon and Reid, meh....)?

Nankervis was available but not selected. They chose to go 1 ruck.SteveH67 wrote:Nankervis was missing for them, not sure who elsedidick wrote:Am I correct in understanding that the Tigers had a 100% full list to chose from on Thursday night?

Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

Eitherway.. i dont fear the Tigers anymore. They are still slick, granted! But we are very capable of beating them( and well), if we get more scoring power. Im looking at Stephenson and Cox here predominantly. Id also love to see Sidey as a small crumbing forward, at the feet of Cox. Reckon he’d slot 2-3 goals a game .
Enjoy yourself. Its later than you think!

Your right having Reid (not sure he’s our greatest defender as described by you but a very good one at least former AA CHB after all)Pies4shaw wrote:You’re certainly right that we missed our greatest defender.
As for the rest of it, both teams looked to be running on half rat-power, so it probably doesn’t much matter who else might be available next time - what matters is how the teams stack up, match-hardened, at the business end. Watching that, who knows.
But we have far more upside than they do merely by the ins we have available
Treloar Cox Stephenson and Beams all best 22 when fit
Greenwood Reid Broomhead could all be valuable and could easily be in the 22

As an older poster I recall Collingwood losing to Essendon in a very close encounter in the first round in 1990 but walking off the ground knowing they has the bombers measure the next time they played each other. I feel the same about this draw with Richmond. Deep down Collingwood know that with some of the injured players strengthening the team on their return, they can and will win the next time round. Richmond don’t worry me this season.
Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine!
Round two blunders showed its time to review the reviews
