Oscar Brownless

Post by Presti35 »

Just been delisted by the Cats. If he slips through the national and rookie drafts, I think could be a very good pick up for the VFL squad.

Age: 21. Height: 187cm. Weight: 78kg. Inside mid. Elite runner.

27 VFL games from 2019-2021 (Sadly the VFL competition was hit hard during Covid).

Had a shoulder injury which disrupted his preparations in 2020, but has recovered to average 22 disposals and finish runner up in the Cats VFL B&F this year.

He played under Cats VFL coach Shane O'Bree.

If we do get him I hope he lasts longer than his uncle Blair Brownless

Blair Brownless... my gosh it's true!

Regardless, I think Oscar is a good VFL level player and could give us something. And would make up for the Cats VFL team taking Jaxson Barham a few years back.
