Pies have selected a strong side. Will be interesting to see how Frederick slots into the team and if the midfield can make the most of 2 experienced targets up forward (Mollloy & Frederick).

Would like a settling goal soon. Carlton worked through for an early one.

Molloy's tackle was very good and she was rewarded, but missed the goal. And we've just missed another one.

And now Alexander has missed a set shot. We've started to play better, but not getting the goal.

1.0.6 Blues
0.3.3 Pies

Andy Maher is the Carlton runner. And is being interviewed at quarter time.

C'mon now, we want this competition to be taken seriously. What's next Mick Molloy running for Richmond?

Pies playing much better in the second. And former Blue Alison Downie kicks one on the siren, right after a 50M penalty.

1.2.8 Blues

3.6.24 Pies

Halftime.

Gee whiz. A holding the ball decision not seen at the opening bounce of the third. But a holding the man was, which leads to a Carlton goal.

Terrible decision by the ump which has impacted the scoreboard.

Another 50 against the Blues, easy goal to Aish.

Daniel Harford will not be happy, 3 goals given up by silly 50s.

Pies 4.7 to 2.2

Carlton have lifted. But they stuffed the goal. Even though we have the lead, we need to settle. Gotta find a goal.
