We lack speed & we are really missing Davey in the middle against the better teams in the comp.

That was like a performance from the wooden spoon year.

*Only kick it as hard and far as you can when in 100% doubt or you are about to be tackled.

*Short passing and fast ball movement is what is needed in this competition.

I saw many opportunities when the ball could have been passed to an open player that was a short option, but almost every possession was kicked as far as that player could and at best, to a contest. And the few times we went short, it was a dodgy kick that Freo took advantage of.

The skill set was very bad. That needs work.

Yes, I also thought the umpiring was a bit iffy, but when its 13 scoring shots to 2, as Pies4shaw pointed out, there's more than just umpiring that's the problem.

This result has put serious doubt in my mind that they can go all the way. Great teams lose games. Premiership teams lose games. But not many get pantsed like that.

Will be a tough ask up in Queensland next week, but they'd better lift.
