Also, a change to the coaching staff with Scott Gowans leaving to take up the Swans AFLW job.

Scott Selwood will take over the midfield coaching role.

We are no chance if the message is kick to Frederick. How she wasn't dropped for this game is a mystery. Will be same result as the Freo game unless they have injected some speed into the side

A pathetic first quarter with a strong wind (the men would kick 10 goals with it), and now the Lions dominating the game. Once again in the third quarter with the wind we can't gain any traction. One goal each. Fredericks is simply NOT fit, slow and overweight. How and why did we pick her up from Richmond? She was a bust there. But there's plenty of blame to spread around. Ever since Robbo fell in love with Chloe Molloy in AFL360 she really has been very ordinary. Simply doesn't do enough with the talent she has.

4 goals to 1. Lions will win this one going away since they have the wind in the final quarter. It's a short season. They won't catch Adelaide and Freo now.

Sack everybody.

Disappointing result. Looks like Pies will be just making up the numbers if they are lucky enough to make finals. Nowhere near the team they were last year.

The small changes made to the 2021 side shouldn't cause these sort of performances. They aren't enjoying their football like they were last year. Perhaps the Davey injury has affected their confidence more than it should?
And certainly gifting Fredericks a game every week despite poor form may be irritating her team mates.

^ I think the lack of depth in the competition squads can't be underestimated. Davey played about half of their football last year. She was a towering influence - and the squads just aren't strong enough, at this stage, to cover losing a player who perfroms like that week in, week out.

Well that was fkn dreadful.

Freo and Crows the two teams to beat. Feel's like we've fallen off.
