Listening to the Test Cricket on MMM, they've been advertising Tik Tok, which was a bit of a WTF moment as social media companies don't usually advertise on mainstream media.
I'd also noticed a few people I have on Facebook who are much older than the expected demographic, posting Tik tok videos.
So I went back in, signed up and had a look. Cricket Australia, the AFL and Collingwood Football Club all have verified Tik Tok accounts, as do several news services.
It's definitely a time bandit, I sat there scrolling through some of the videos, some I laughed at, others I cringed and others I swiped off faster than a vegan seeing a video on how to cook a rare steak. Before I knew it, an hour had gone by.
Do you Tiktok?
