Should win this as well.

We win and can be close to a finals berth.

Be a tough match v crows but pies to win.

nearly half way through the season already.

Pies are 2nd on the ladder with a health per centage.

Ill say rest Lambert for this one i think she needs one.

The rest of the players looking good and in form.

We have alot of players from the VFLW waiting in the wings as well.

The next match after crows is essendon at AIA oval then saint kilda at Moorabbin.

Under a goal with seconds to go... seems familiar. And the opposition is kicking it in as the siren went.

Not a great weekend for Pies fans. But this loss by our women just shows how far away we are from challenging for a flag. Adelaide seemed to have double the players on the ground. And they outmarked us EVERYWHERE! Except fortunately in front of goal.
Like the men's team we are short a tall forward and a tall back. And we will struggle in the centre until Davey & Bonnici come back next season.

Agree, Crows looked to be running harder to find space and their overhead marking was much better.

Pies kept in the game by Crows wayward kicking but they could have snuck a win with the ball in the Pies forward 50 for the last 5 minutes of the game.

Frederick remains a conundrum. Pies went in with only 1 ruck - Frederick did OK but she is not mobile enough compared to other teams talls and doesn't take enough marks around the ground. This game she bring the ball to ground a couple of times but the Pies lacked someone at ground level to take advantage.
