Ginni. What an effort to provide the spark. Gets a vote from me.
Checkers back in form. Pendles huge.
Cox in the Ruck was such an improvement, no disrespect to Frampton who has been lion hearted.
I was pretty calm this match. Guess I’m getting used to being the best 4qtr team.

The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after.

Agree, Eddie.eddiesmith wrote:It’s a huge difference on a proper sized ground. You could see how Sydney try and choke the play and give you no room, but on the MCG you can go around it.
Did well to spread and get around it in the end.

I dunno, its surreal, like the whole team is like a sleeping, dozing Giant, that finally wakes up late in the match, yawns, and thinks, " Blimey, we better start playing some decent footy now " And away, we go. LOL
Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

The problem is he leans into it. Difference with his and that rat papley is he went down to get the ball then back up. It was soft but there.
Ginni went down, stayed down which is fine but he leans into the tackler.
So hard to adjudicate.
That said, he is basically a free target now. 50:50s will go against him every time.

The attendance at this game should serve as a reminder to the AFL that's it's been a disgrace we haven't had the opportunity to play the Swans in Melbourne for a decade.
If the AFL is serious about having some type of equity within it's draw then every side in the competition should be required to play the opposition away at least once every 2 years.

He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD!
Papley kept his head down and leaned into it. Ginni didn’t.Haff wrote:The problem is he leans into it. Difference with his and that rat papley is he went down to get the ball then back up. It was soft but there.Mr Miyagi wrote:royal commission for umpires and Ginnivan

Maybe there's no room for both Hill and Ginni at the same time?

Geelong Flyer
About to board the Geelong flyer home to Corio. I can’t drive due to consuming 14 beers at the ground . It was a pleasure sitting next to mainly Pies fans for once today. The few Sydney types were loud during the first half but progressive silence after 3/4 time was noticeably deafening. I thought we played a great style of football again, although I still can’t understand our game plan. The ladder worries me a lot with so many Teams so close. Just hope we can ride these injuries out and peak at the right time of the season. Oh before I forget; I met a lost Melbourne fan at half time outside as I was lighting up a cigarette. He said he comes to our games and sits in the MCC because he finds his own team boring. I had to
I love this club and I hold anyone in contempt who does not think it is worth fighting for.
