Lucas Herbert finished the first round on even par, after he led by 3 strokes.

Min Woo Lee, Jason Day, Adam Scott, Cam Smith - all 1 over par, early.

I got 66/1 for Min.

He finished on even par, 71.

Topsy turvy round for Lee. Started on 3 under. Dropped to 1 over but finished well to be minus 2.

Day returned a 69, to be 5 under.

Smith had a 68 to be 1 under.

But the leader, Brian Harman is 12 under !!

Scott is 3 over and Herbert, 5 over.

Jason Day finished tied for second, on 7 under.

Adam Scott and Cam Smith finished on plus 1.

No cigar but sweet $$$ for Day's Open equal second.

Winner): $3,000,000 -- Brian Harman

2nd: Jason Day, Jon Rahm, Tom Kim, Sepp Straka - $1,084,625 each.

Min Woo Lee earned $60,000 for finishing equal 41st.
