The only game in Adelaide this year - I am looking forward to it.
I hope the pressure and and intensity stays up like last week. Lots of run on play on the narrow ground and carving up through the middle.
I think therefore I think - I think

lol. MacRae plays a couple half games and you’re dumping him and going to Carmichael for “the answer”? What if he comes in and gets 10 touches then gets subbed? Will that convince you he’s no good?? I see Richards kicked 6 - but not sure which forward he replaces. Also, you want to reward form, but Carmichael has barely touched it last outing.

People need to realise that not all young players are Nick Diacos who nearly won a Brownlow inside their first 50 games.

We’re going to have to persist with a couple
of these young guys. I’d argue MacRae as a sub to start has been a poor move (coach admitted as much after Saints loss), and because he didn’t kill it last week he got subbed and now we’re all putting a line through him!

He might not make it to 200 games, but we’ve had far better players start their career far worse. Hell - there’s a guy playing his 350th today for the Cats whose first 70 games were unbearably poor.

I think MacRae might stay in - IMO we will need more in and under this week against the brown and gold grubs. Wonder if we can do something creative with DeGoey forward? Although they’ll probably send their tagged to Nick…

Last match of Gather Round again?
What's that all about? Why no prime time spot for the Premiers?
Absolute BS

^could argue Sunday twilight beamed into Melbourne is prime time! Probably has something to do with us having the bye next week also (suspect that results in a low priority re: fixturing).

Fair go mate, that's AFL media, where-are-the-ratings talk.
Thurs, Fri night, that's where we belong...perhaps Sat night considering our need for a longer break.
This 5pm Sunday bollocks is not prime time!

Not much good having a great victory in Brisvegas, then losing to these piss and poop bastards. ?? But, they always trouble us, have for yrs, decades, always a danger match. They even beat us last yr, our Premiership season. We owe these thugs, what they did to Naicos last match was disgusting, 3 of em pummeled him relentlessly, caused him to miss weeks, cost him a Brownlow. That sniper Mitchell will send his brutes to attack him again, so Maynard an co, must be on Naicos watch. Game is on neutral oval, so may help us in some ways. Just bring Sidey in, I guess. ? Time to payback these creeps, hope Ginni goes to the races in Adelaide pre game. ! Woods by 17 points.

Finn Maginess was dropped for the Hawks game today. Wonder if they will bring him in to tag.

The way the commentary talked up Ginnivans umpiring treatment against the cats today. Sets them up beautifully for the AFL and umpires to look after him in Gather Round doesn’t it.

Really hope the pies click and deliver a resounding victory for a nice change.

One of Harrison, Sullivan or Richards in if we make any changes. All 3 will be stiff not to get an AFL game but we might opt for the same 23 given the extra days break before and after.
Ed Allen kicked our last goal of the year at the 58minute mark

Just on the umps and race track man Ginni, to me it only says, the umps still dont like his free free loading cheap shots, and he wont be getting much from them as per usual. His antics havent been forgotten at all.

For me:
Keep Fin, give him another opportunity.
He needs to help Titch dive in for that ball at ground level, and lay some brutal tackles. Fin needs another chance before we try another option.
Crisp into the 22, and goes straight into the midfield.
Then: either:
WHE (out, managed) and Sidey in as Sub OR: WHE (sub) (not sure which way)
We need to find out who can be another inside mid to buttress the midfield, and allow Crisp, JDG,Lippa, to fly on the outside.
Free Julian Assange!!
