Yep was going to post this. The WCE game was a nothing game for mine. He’s best half for the seniors.think better wrote:Macrae has been very good - more creative than I have seen in the past
The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after.

Frampton is up there for structure. It's working, Krueger has been able to impact.shawthing wrote:WHE! He's been huge. A nice play by Finn too. Jeremy Howe did well that quarter. Yes I'd swap Markov and Frampton. Peter is not getting near the ball in the forward line.
What's up with Nick? He has had his worst rated half of his career by a long way.
Naicos has been hard tagged by Neale-Bullen. We'll soon find out by late in the 3rd if NB has the tank to do it for 4qtrs. It's been a good contest, but Naicos will have his moment.
Good coaching re WHE on May. May is a truck, WHE running rings around him.

Is it just me or is MacRae starting to look like an AFL footballer ?
The Hoskin - Elliot match up on May is a masterstroke. I don’t know why coaches don’t exploit May’s lack of mobility and pace more often. That move can only happen while Krueger and Frampton keep McDonald occupied and that’s why Frampton is playing as a forward once again this week.

Nice first half. Petracca's injury is a game turner. Krueger doing great. Josh playing very well as is Bobby. Crisp and Lipinski are influential and McRae keeps popping up. Nick is dealing with a hard tag. WHE showing why he is a certain pick every game. Melbourne look one dimensional since Petracca's injury. Schultz is playing his role but what is Beau doing besides showing off his impressive tatts? On more than occasion he is waiting for a ball to come out when he really needed to be jumping into the contest where his physique could be influential. Im not sure of his possession and disposal count but he surely needs to lift. The boys in the backline are holding Melbourne's forwards who are finding their options continually limited. We look better with Framptom back where he belongs.
Okay. Now can we keep this going or are we going to take the foot off the Dreamons necks? The third quarter may decide the game.

BT is surely the original gorilla. The TV commentators have been uniformly terrible. Lucky we can see the action and decide for ourselves what's happening without their patent idiocy.Haff wrote:How many times can this moron get it wrong. Wrong player, calling it wrong etc. nowhere near the best commentators.
