The problem runs that deep that we are talking about the depths of hell
There is no Leadership
There is no Accountability
There is no Heart

My sentiments exactly.simon tonna wrote:I hope that the CFC do a thorough search for a new coach but I especially want the CFC to make the decision to outsource a third party that has the credibility to hand pick our next coach. There cannot be any bias in this decision. If Lyon was picked as coach it stinks of Eddie DNA. It’s time to wash our hands of the last decade and start a new dynasty.
Whoever the next coach is, I just hope we do our due diligence and go through a proper process rather than relying on a captain's pick or favourite son as we have done in the past.

What Eddie is saying is Sideways is not a leader. look at his actions on the field or off the field. He is a senior foot soldier, a plodder, no more effective than a JT or a Chris mayne with what he does with a football. We got rid of the wrong midfielder.Rosolino_Leone wrote:Geelong would take him or pendles in a heartbeateddiesmith wrote:If Sidebottom is being mentioned in relation to leadership then this club is beyond $%$ed.
Should have tried trading him but no one probably wants him.

Short interview with Pettraca on AFL #360 (and article quoting T.Shaw @ news dot com)

He actually doesn't sound 'overly convincing' imo and what else would you expect a contracted player to say. It actually makes sense to target him as much or even more than any of the other soon to be available free agents.
The key issue really is what will he cost us, both $$$ wise but more so in compensation towards Melbourne in draft picks or players.

If Pettraca doesn’t want to play for the club he barracked for, then off you go son. Give this opportunity to someone who really wants to play for the ‘pies and values the honour of doing so.
